Is it only me or others also hate these stupid cupholders in armrest?

The area I do hate is the phone charger area.

On somewhat relaxed drives, my phone sits there (cap/cover/enclosure removed). Don't know what's immediately underneath, but an even lowered area would have been much useful than the enclosure.
