Is it time to start thinking about a Dragon run again?

Vaccination rates are up and travel will get easier post-summer. Is it worth discussing a group day at the Tail of the Dragon? Late summer or early fall when kids are back in school but before the leaf lookers are out?

Ive never been and would absolutely love to do this! And for sure, we can take lots of pictures and get them perhaps sent to the right people.

It seems like between this forum and a regional Facebook forum, we could get a sizable group. With that, some additional planning can begin.

I had looked at a couple of hotels. I’d like us to be close, but with enough space for everyone (if they want) to be at one place.

it’s probably just up to me and one or two other people to pick a date and work with a hotel on a discount.

I’m thinking one of the weekends after Labor Day but before mid October to (respectfully) avoid the coming of the leaf lookers.

I’ll get cracking. Others chime in on ideas and considerations.
