"One of the largest complaints that the M2 CS gets is that it doesn't have a cup holder, lol. Do you know what else doesn't have a cup holder? The MKIV Supra, so you could say I'm used to it."

Unless this was edited, ya'll that love to call out someone else for stupid comments/mistakes need to check yourself, lol.
That was never edited people in here just don’t want to read, don’t know how to read, skimming, or simply seeing what they want to see. And that goes for multiple people. I guess there is only one Supra, lol? (Sarcasm) I stated MKIV from the beginning I wouldn’t mess that up and you can check yourself there is no cup holder in a mkiv Supra.

Oh, you're one of those. Maybe go rewatch the movies. šŸ™„
No, I had to do that because there are alot of clueless people in here that don’t know about the mkiv Supra or that it doesn’t have cup holders. Multiple People in fact so I used a photo so they could understand because they were unable to read, comprehend or understand so I used a photo so they could understand kind of like what you do when you’re talking to kids or people who lack reading comprehension.

She thinks the M2 is a good looking car. So…yeah. Go figure
I said MKIV Supra didn't have cup holders and I never said the M2 was a good looking car in fact I said I dont love it but I don't hate it either. For the second, maybe third time learn to read, spend more time reading what I actually said. None of my posts were edited you just refuse to actually read things completely and choose to make assumptions... Additionally I stated that I like the S58 and the Interior and the Trunk Space of the M2 CS over the Supra MKV. Oh and the additional 141 HP and the additional turbo it comes with.

I choose a M2 CS as a daily driver if I had chosen a Tesla Plaid would that have made you happier lol?

If only one car can be had at a time, and you outgrew your Supra, M2 CS sounds like a great chose! GL! šŸ‘

Actually I was thinking about getting one myself while keeping the Supra, but I can’t take both with me into my next phase in life, so decided to just keep my 2020 Supra with 6K miles and run her to the ground.. aka 12k miles? šŸ˜„

Nobody cares if the MKIV has cup holders. Well, I certainly don't. The MKIV is the most overrated car in history, right next to the slow af Miata. While I can't speak for the CS, I can tell you the M2 is a lovely car but it isn't exactly very practical. We have both in the driveway and while the M2 certainly has some more space, it's still not as practical as a hot hatch. The Supra is unashamedly a car with far fewer compromises and has a street presence which is the envy of an M car's, even a higher numbered M CS.

Anyway, enjoy your new car.

I really don't care that you have an M2 or that you think a MKV has street presence and is more practical, which it really doesn't at least not in my area. And if you want to knock the MKIV let me know what car you were driving when you were 16-17 and let's see how that compares to an MKIV and what a joke of a car it is. If I wanted Street Presense I'd get a GT3 RS or a McLaren but again that isn't practical in the slightest but it definately has Street Presnce (If i cared about street presence I'd buy this in a hearthbeat). It's laughable that you actually think the MKV is more practical then the M2 try placing an international suitcase and the two carry-ons into it. You own both go ahead and try the exercise. Lower the back seats and then see which fits more. You think the MKV is more practical because it has a hatch? I think you're forgetting about the Subs there and the opening is awful with actual ceilings left and right of it.

If it's truly as great as you are claiming it to be why did mine depreciate to half it's origlal purchase price from 2020? Are you saying your yellow one with a wing is holding value for some reason? Yet somehow.... 2020 M2 CS are actually holding value? With little to no depreciation hmmm why is that? (you won't fine a single one in the entire country (United States) for under 75k) Where the original sticker on these 6 years ago were around 88k? Additinally why is the MKIV Supra the most overrated car ever holding value? So basically every car you like isn't holding value but the cars you dislike are holding value? Intresting...

I'm actually 50/50 on getting both an F87 and a G87 M2CS so I have a manual to dickaround with and an automatic to daily because they don't offer the G87 in manual and both of them would still be under the price of a single 992 GT3 RS (This Street Presnce you eloquently speak of) But I'm going to buy one car at a time and my work my way there.

Tons of people in my area have a GT3 RS I don't think a single day goes by where I don't see one. That car has "Street Presence"....

At least the Tesla plaid looks better, sounds better *s58 goes bzzzzzzzzzzzz*, is faster and carries more of your suitcases.

I'd argue that your post was poorly written. Comparing 4 different cars with no structure and seemingly at random. Constantly switching between old and new M2s/Supras. Plus MKIV vc MKV it's easy to miss the "I". Or again maybe it was too early and my coffee hasn't kicked in.

Anywho...we all love AI so here's what Claude Opus 4.7 says about the post! Hopefully that VP of artificial intelligence hired by Intel on this forum doesn't yell at me again.

"
The core issue is that the writer uses "MKIV," "MKV," "M2," "M2 CS," and "Supra" interchangeably in dense paragraphs without enough signposting. A few specific things that make it hard to follow:

The pronoun "it" gets overloaded. In sentences like "the M2 CS isn't like way bigger but it's dimmension overall has use case that is closer to the MKIV and therefore I'm used to it and prefer having the tad bit more space" — you're juggling three cars (M2 CS, MKIV, MKV) and the "it" keeps shifting referents.

There's no paragraph structure. It's one giant wall of text covering at least five distinct topics: the trade-in decision, the Z4 vs M2 platform critique, comparisons to the MKIV, the build spec / carbon ceramics question, and a question to other daily drivers. Breaking those into paragraphs alone would solve half the readability problem.

The MKIV gets invoked as a benchmark constantly — for trunk, cup holders, size, seat-folding — but it's woven into sentences that are also comparing MKV to M2 CS, so the reader has to track three cars at once in nearly every sentence.

Typos and missing punctuation compound it. "dimmension," "exepensive," "signifant," "challange," missing commas, and weird auto-linked fragments like "has. One" and "now. My" where sentences ran together without periods. Those auto-links are Reddit/forum software turning "has. One" into a hyperlink because there's no space after the period — a tell that the writer didn't proofread.

The Cammisa point is also buried. The thesis — "the M2 is what the Supra should have been" — is actually interesting and would land harder if it opened the post instead of being scattered across three separate restatements."

EV's drive themselves and are one trick ponies, but of course you would love a Tesla 🤔 Why didn't you buy one yet? They are everywhere, there is literally a tesla on every street here at any given moment. That's as boring as it gets. But i guess you live in NH SoCal is totally different they are everywhere here. More common then a GT3 RS.

I didn't realize I was writing a Term Paper sorry about that I haven't been in college since like 20 years ago. But I do appolgize for my scatter brain I don't really write or post a whole lot. I'm still sticking with the hardpoints should have been on a M2 instead of a Z4. The Supra was never a roadster in any of it's previous 4 itterations. In fact I'll go as far as to say that Toyota just called it a Supra because it has a inline six turbo motor, that's the only thing it shares with the Supra Lineage, absolutely nothing else. If reviewers, you, or anyone actually spent time driving the previous Supras (1 -4) they would have understood that. Instead they were obsessed with beating the Cayman or 718. And the Supra was never in the same category as the 718/Cayman at any point or even that type of car (Roadster).

I think it's a MKIV owner thing. You all seem to have your head up your own ass desperately trying to find relevance in the post Fast and Furious world. I mean, you seem to struggle with English and fail to understand that the Supra is a full blown sportscar, and not a hot hatch.. but I digress - you can look that word up later.

In any case, I'm sure the BMW forums will provide you with everything you need from here-on-in, but rest assured that they're unlikely to tolerate your MKIV elitist bullshit. šŸ˜‚

I get the point and it's all personal preference. I come from a Z3 m and still have it so that makes 2 roadsters for me. I also have a crappy truck and a Nissan rogue so there's no reason to need more trunk space or back row seating with my roadsters.

I think the supra community is a pretty harsh one and the replies you've gotten were to be expected (Including my own posts). The M2 CS is a seriously cool car, so enjoy it.

How big is she? I mean, the car does comes with a full size passenger seat. šŸ’ā€ā™‚ļø
You want to call me an MKIV Elitiest with my head up my ass when this is your first post on my thread. So lets get this striaght you call my wife fat, my MKIV overrated and then you call me an MKIV elitiest with my head up my ass. This is literally your first post and then you just continue downhill with your passive agressive bullshit, lol, and then conclude to say my head is up my ass. You were most likely a bully during your school days I'd imagine.

Again this is your first post.... You have 3,000+ posts on this forum while i have 300 while I've been a member since 2019, I'd make the argument that you think you're an elitist of MKV forums apparently with your passive agressive bullshit from the jump. I actually contributed to the community at one point where people trusted me with their vins and i would gave them status updates on their deliveries. That's what we would call a positive contribution.

Get a life outisde of the internet, unless being MKV Troll/Keyboard warrior is what your life goal is which is beyond pathetic. You probably only got a Supra because you wanted a Z4 (E86) hardtop and just went with the Supra to go along with your BMW M2.
