No it was a heavy downpour and I was hydroplaning in certain areas and I was in fact sliding. I personally don't think it's a great idea to drive a 550hp RWD car 300 miles in downpour on day 1 and to arrange or pick a better day to drive on day 1 in reflection. (You know get used to the car)

Only because putting the car into a highway wall or another car slipping and hitting you isn't outside of the realm of possibilties and that would just suck on day 1 but something tells me some people on here would have loved it if that had happened to me ,lol.

I think at 1100 miles they told me I need to do an oil change because it's a new motor apparently. The first four oil changes are complimentary (Maybe that's a BMW thing) SAE 5W-40
