Out of interest only, but this edition is a great car as are all Supras but how comes these ones sell for such a premium over much newer and Pro spec Supras? Compared to a Pro spec they dont have HUD, the JBL etc. They are admittently in a lovely shade of blue, have black wheels and a bit of blue piping on the seats with 30 of them in the Uk.

Autotrader

Looking on Autotrader one Jarama is up for just under 49k with 10k miles and the other for 50k+ with 18k miles compared to a much newer 23 plate Pro specs for under 45k with less than 2 k miles on. Other edition models also limited do not seem to hold the same price cache. For me the A90 in Phantom grey and first special would be the most sought after, then my special MT edition obviously;) maybe time will tell.

The rarity and unique color combo is what's keeping these values up. Nobody really minds that the HUD & JBL stuff is missing.

Yes but thats the same with all the editions, the A90 edition is rarer and arguably more unique colour combo, comes with all the extras plus matte paint too. The Jarama one on Autotrader at 51k is virtually the price oif when it was new which i think was 52k, Supras do seem to hold their values very well even after a few years

Fortunately, GR Supras generally seem to hold their value, but the Jarama does seem to do particularly well. I get that it's a very limited edition, but the premium still doesn't seem worth it to me.

There's 2 on Autotrader at the moment, one of them has been on a while started near 52k, now just pver 50k, with 18k miles, however there's one at 2k less with half the mileage, neither of which have sold. I guess if you want that lovely blue colour your happy to pay the premium, if not there are better much newer ones for less money incl manual pro's

As much as I like the Horizon Blue, I preferred the Dawn Blue anyway, and I wanted a newer car with the suspension (etc.) updates that Toyota introduced across the range when it launched the manual. At a lower price too, that’s a win-win.

Love the white, by the way!

From your user name, I guess you had a celica 190, I never had one of these but often thought of getting the T-Sport one. Years ago I had the 3rd and 4th gen one's with pop up lights, the one that escaped me was the 5th gen with the Turbo the GT-4, still think they look great now
