License plate cover (Vusi Studios)

Recently installed Vusi studios electronic license plate cover.

I routed the cable from the battery up to the driver side tail light and drilled a small hole under the plastic trimming to route it out of the cabin.

I had to remove the hard plastic trimming on the back side and pulled out the corner trimming to expose the metal where I drilled the hole and fed the wire though.

I then fed the wire through to the license plate light hole on the left side to plug it in. It’s pretty seamless and the only way I found to do it without removing the rear bumper. There’s basically no delay when using the remote and has saved me a couple times already….

Figured I’d post here since so many people DM’d me on IG asking how I did it.

I should also note that the license plate cover did not fit so I had to trim the edges and 3M tape it onto the frame, can’t even tell but also my car is black lol I will work on posting a video as it wouldn’t let me upload the clip to this thread.

Like the guy with his motorcycle plate dangling on zip ties…officer swings it and it sticks up and under the bike. You must also enjoy running from the law?

Actually I am a photographer/ Videographer and I go to a lot of car meets! The white plate contrast with my car does not look good imo! It’s also pretty clear when it’s off, so I have yet to have trouble with cops for tinted plate!

Just wanted to complete the blacked out look! The white plate and random numbers does not look good on photo / video! I do photography and videography, but I agree it would be cool if I was James Bond ?

You can get custom plate covers that attach by magnet. You could have your logo or whatever name on it printed. Just a thought, 00!
