If it was bought and resold at copart then some people probably bought it, kinda straightened it out and made it look better for copart photos and resold it through copart to some unsuspecting buyer. A lot of this going on especially with supras. Cali and florida copart cars are the ones to always be a little sus about for anyone looking to rebuild one.

Update on Heie (VIN WZ1DB4C04LW029695):
• Declared total loss 11/27/24 → Salvage/NAM title issued in Oregon 1/31/25.
• Auction trail:
• Copart Portland North (Lot #83120564 – GEICO) → 2/12/25
• Relisted at Copart Los Angeles (Lot #50001135) → Sold 3/27/25
• Odometer at last sale: ~54,347 mi.
Looks like it went to a rebuilder/exporter after the LA sale, but no fresh listings since. If anyone spots it resurfacing (rebuilt, parted, or overseas), please drop a lead.
