I don't think the main reason the guys from TN Supra project was to save money. It has to do more to do with getting more subscribers, more clicks and giving viewers content etc. In end I think their final cost will be around $40k.
This! I don't think it's worth doing for the average Joe. The salvage/rebuilt title will kill resale.

Agreed. I bet they break even on sale of car not including any money they get from YouTube.

I’ve been watching this series. It has been a crap show since day one. It’s like watching a pile up on the interstate.

The block of wood for a motor mount and the 5 series welded in cross member discovery was the icing on the cake. ?

I’m shocked how they’re many man hours they’ve invested to bring this Supra back to life.

I’ve learned a lot on how the car is put together from watching the series.
