So I run a snow methanol stage 2 kit with a large meth tank in my trunk. The tank and cap are not ventilated and I have read that a small hole or a vent is a must or the tank will implode/collapse. Now I dont like the idea of venting meth in my cabin while driving.. I have asked around and some people told me there is no need to vent while others said a vent is important. Any ideas?

Only a shit tank would do that. If your worried about it a Vented cap, or a coolant line tap can be used to easily vent the tank. Most tend to use a piece of Fuel/coolant hose and just run it through a rubber grommet into the bumper/quarter panel.

Most of the venting is because as you pump meth out of a sealed container it creates vacuum inside that container. Personally I've skipped the plastic washer fluid bottles and just grabbed 1-2gal fuel cells so there is no issues. Better in case of a fire too.

Pop the cap and make sure there is a seal on the it. If you have the level sensor use it until your notified of low fluid then try to take the cap off. If you get any kind of resistance or purging when you crack the lid then you know you will need to address the issue. If so, grab a screw-in, self-sealing tap similar to one you would tap for vacuum, some hose, and route it out the car through one of the openings/grommets. Just remember you don't want around the exhaust.

This is correct. And based and your tank, you should be ok. Monitor meth level and avoid pumping 'nothing' and you should be fine.

I do notice that the lid is sometimes too hard to twist open.
