after a year with the stock sport 4 s tires, i switch to cup 2 connect, I'm looking for tire pressure recommendation for track / on road use.

i do a lot of backroads driving and maybe 2-3 track days a year(max).

i used to a cold pressure of 32-33 psi from my old sport 4 s tires, but with the cup 2 i fell i should start with a much lower pressure.

I haven't used Cup 2's but most 200TW like 32 or so hot. I start at 26f/25r cold at track days with my Nankang CRS and usually need to bleed a little air out after the first session or two.

Cup 2 305's over here. Cold PSI is 30 for me.

I still don't hook.

Cups need some heat in them to do anything on the street. PS4S hooks better at street temps.

yes thats true.

i also read that if using the CUP 2 in wrong pressure i can finish them very fast and ahaed of time, so want to make i maximize the performance and also get the maximum tire life.

You want maximum performance or maximum wear? Learn to read the tires after a spirited drive. There are temps and side wall indicators that will tell you everything you need to know. A lot of track fine tuning on components is waste of time for ave driver and beginner track days. depending on skill and how hard you are pushing the car 27-30 cold will be fine.
