The most likely scenario involves them driving an Altima... however, many people join the salvage thread by "just holding the wheel straight and mashing the pedal" - on bone-stock Supras.

Of course, I'm sure that Altima is an absolute beast on the track... so I should sit down now. ?

People who think it doesn't take any skill to drag race, have slow cars. They think running a 10 or a 9 is "fast" (and it is for a street car) Running a 8.5 is sooo different then running a 9.5, at least the cars I have been in. I've been in a 7.80's car and "only" ran a 8.32 everything was so overwhelming I bounced the limited every shift, and you are just slapping a lever up and I still couldn't keep up with it. And my foot for sure lifted on the launch. Ive never had a 1.11 launch before. Any one who thinks these fast cars just pull up to a line and floors it and runs a 7.9 is a clown and never been in a fast car before.

I'm not a AutoX-er at all, I've tried it, standing around in a hot ass parking lot all day for 8 mins of run time.... fuck that. At Streets of Willow, I got within a second of Randy Pobst lap time for a stock 86, So while I'm not fast at circuit racing At that track in the "same cars" i was with in a second of a pro driver and i was happy with that. Of course he probably did that on lap 5 and it took me 50+ lolol
