The brakes work fine and the light goes solid when the e brake is on. I can disengage the e brake just fine and I hear it have no issues.
no issue driving either

The car did have no power when I tried to start it this morning. I put it on tenders and was able to drive it this afternoon which is when I notitced the flashing

I’ve had it on tenders for a day now. Still flashing
battery could still be the issue but first get a scanner to do a full system scan if not let someone do diagnostic or it'll be guesswork.

is it a basic dtc scanner or full system scan?
I think just dtc.
I scanned with MHD and ecutek. Will those not help?
I also have BimmerCode but Havnt tried that

I currently have the same issue. Started after I disconnected the battery to install the OLM 4th brake light. Park brake light flashes amber but everything is working. I tried to reregister the battery, tried putting the e brake in service mode and reactivating, checked codes, drive for about 45 min to see if it would clear on its own. Car has been on the tender for the last 3 months. Started it up last weekend, still flashing.

If you find a solution let me know. I plan to take it to the dealer when the weather is warm enough to drive the car.

I took it to a small dealership in November but they weren't able to troubleshoot because their software was out of date. The Service Rep thinks it might just need to be reset through their software.

Anyone else have this issue before?

I tell you what I would do. I'd release the park brake and shut the car down and leave it for 45minutes. I'd then disconnect the battery for 10 min and then reconnect it and see what the outcome is then.

I gave @lucky phil recommendation a try today and unfortunately the issue is still there. It did help narrow some things down and there is certainly something up with the parking sensors. Here is what I did:

I parked the car in the center of the driveway so no sensors would be alarming, checked codes (none) removed the parking brake, let the car sit for about an hour, disconnected the battery for about 3 hours, and reconnected the battery.
Park light started flashing immediately. This time though I received two notifications "Park Assistance Malfunction" and "Side Sensors".

A read some other threads where this went away after driving so I drove for about a half hour parked a few times and the notification cleared but the parking brake light continues to flash amber. I noticed that the park assistance works but in the 360 view the side areas are intermittent. Sometimes they are black and sometimes they show up sensing obstacles, but turn off and turn back again.

There are no codes, checked fuses front and rear, and all other sensors.

I read a few threads regarding the notification and a few people said they recalibrated the parking sensors through the dealer or ISTA.

I'll get it over to the dealer hopefully soon or download ISTA to a laptop and try to recalibrate if it's not too difficult.

@Benjilis Any luck of your end?

After further review. This is exactly the same issue I’m having. Did you have a fix yet? Did you do the ISTA? Can I do it myself? What all do I need?

if you did it, can you help direct me?
