I would never use the oil and cloth air filter, again. I had to replace an engine due to all the junk it passed. The cylinders were ruined. The shop owner said the filter had let a lot of dirty air pass and destroyed the top. Compression shot etc. Showed me the wear.

I would never ever, ever use a K&N again. Never. A ruined engine and 1000s later and the proof shown to me on the tear down confirmed what I was being told verbally. I emailed K&N with the proof and they would own up to nothing!
