So I’m looking to buy new tires and rims for my Supra. I don’t really know much about tires and rims so I had some questions. Does buying different size rims than the original ones it came with affect the car and the way it drives?

It can change how the car feels to an extent if you make a drastic change (like buying extremely heavy wheels), but as long as you get the correct bolt pattern and don't get something too deep/wide it won't do much.

Worst case scenario is your speedo is off a few percent (if you go from 19" to 20" or 18"), but if you go with 19's then you should have more or less no issues.

I'd probably recommend sticking to 9.5" front and 10.5" rear if you can though, the loss of 1" of contact patch on all 4 corners isn't really worth the slight price or weight savings of running thinner wheels.

Yes it will feel different but not in a bad way.

I'd say most Supra owners change out their wheels for better looks and performance. (18s have more tire options too)

Let us know if we can help.

Or just run spacers or paint your stock wheels to your liking and run spacers..
