Hello fellow mk5 supra owners, NeuSpeed has partnered with me to make a pcv heater delete for the 2022 and newer A90 & A91 3.0L 6 port Gen 2 b58 385 hp GR Supra for those with aftermarket intakes that remove the factory turbo inlet that has the pcv heater on the inlet, once removed u have to either code out the cel or use a delete plug. NeuSpeed is attempting to make a delete plug but need someone who lives in the California area to bring their car by to make the delete plug. This will prevent a check engine light for those of us with an aftermarket intake that has a dme that is locked. You will need to contact newspeed customer service Tel: (805) 388-7171, or send [email protected] an email attention R&D pcv heater delete. For them to reach back out. And if u have an intake like the one I have pic below, u need this delete plug if ur on factory tune with a locked dme/ecu. Or any aftermarket intake that removes the factory turbo inlet. Thus needing the delete plug.

I did google, but OP misspelled “Newspeed” which I never heard of, so I thought it was another company

Neuspeed on the other hand, I’m familiar with, back in the day was popular with VW parts. I haven’t heard about them in 20 years, I assumed they didn’t exist anymore

I live literally around the corner from them. I have an M240i but I’ll reach out because it’s all the same shit.
Not all b58 engines are created equal lol, the gen 1 has smaller turbo inlet size than the gen 2 also is 2 port head/ exhaust manifold, gen 2 has the larger inlet and 6 port head/ manifold.

It’s a 2024. They’re the same with regards to the PCV heater regardless of it being a 6 or 2 port.

Not true either as 2024 can be a gen 3 b58 which has a larger turbo, thust diffrent inlet. With larger inlet will be a diffrent resistor size for the pcv heater, also the gen 3 has port injection plus direct injection factory.

M240i gets the same Gen2 B58 as the Supra. They do not have the gen3 yet.

2port and 6port Supra engines (and M240i) are all Gen2. Same turbo cold side. Same inlet.

As I live in NC im unable to bring my car to their shop. The person that brings their car in after they do what they need to will recive the delete plug for free.

Yes but all M240i’s get the Gen2 still. Even the new 2026 models. All gen2 inlets are the same.

I’m not sure a resistor will work as the DME is expecting voltage changes based on airflow. I tried connecting my inlet uninstalled on the turbo. I zip tied it off to the side in the engine bay and it tripped the code still. Was just a “I wonder” experiment. No big deal for me as my DME isn’t unlocked so I just coded it out.

Also, there is a company in the EU already making new inlets with the OEM heater/sensor molded in for this reason.

I’d check your information there, bud. As Razor pointed out, you’re pretty incorrect. I would not have bothered to reply and reach out to them if I wasn’t sure that it was going to work out.

They’ve already gotten back to me and we will be moving forward here in the near future. Just trying to find a day that works best for both of us.

Check on Google BUD, the gen 3 may not be in the 24 plus m240i as razor has stated but new Gen 3 B58 engine, also known as the B58TU2, is primarily found in the BMW 7 series (G70), X7 (G07), 5 series (G60), and X5 (G05) LCI models. It's also expected to be in the 2025 M440i, M340i, and X3 models. The Gen 3 B58 features enhancements like exhaust valve deactivation, a new DME, and factory-installed port injection. in the m340i and select other cars and so on and as far as the bigger turbo and port plus direct injection and diffrent size inlet is correct. Never said the pcv heater didn't have a airflow sensor. I just know that neuspeed brought in. A supra apparently from and employee. And my factory turbo inlet wouldn't fit on his for testing. Is why they asked me to post on forums looking for a car in the local area. The diameter of the inlet housing is diffrent and must match. Was the only reason I replied. So as to not waste their time. Not to create an argument.
