and pay more on shipping costs, tax and import duty than the actual cost of a retrim.

Also, I'm not a soldier.
Actually I ship directly to the UK, anywhere world wide for free and regarding import and fees there’s a workaround I use! Feel free to shoot me a message :)

There's always work arounds for tax and import costs.

Can anyone share what do you guys mean please? I'd really like some tuxmats or weathertech but they don't ship to UK, how would I go about this avoiding the import charges???

I have the same G8X Wheel and its so gorgeous! It feels like a brand new car when driving. Only the distance setter buttons do not work but it doesnt matter anyway

All personal preference, but yep, these look amazing. Can anyone share a good vendor? Any airbag refit issues on install?

You are correct, shape/ style/ thickness/ contour can all be modified to your liking, not sure where people got this idea that its one size fits all lol. Every person will have their own personal preference and taste when it comes to ergonomics/design/functionality etc. For example, the first two wheels here were done without the more aggressive contour. That is the beauty of having some built to order as you can spec however you want, there are endless options for how you can spec one of my wheels.

All personal opinion, not sure why people hate on stuff, just don't buy it if it isn't your style... but the horn button is way better on these IMO, nice work. Is the airbag swap hard/problematic?

not at all, you re use your oem airbag, and this is just an oem rubber cover re stitched in leather ( they way it is found in the Z4 and bmw's) just uses pressure clips to remove and still retains all functionality. One of the main reasons that OEM cores and parts are so important .

Good lord, this thread took a turn...

For those that don't like my wheel, glad you were able to use this thread to make a decision.

I've had this wheel installed for 2 months now. Still feels fantastic, and love the way it looks, huge step up from OEM. Nitro has a plethora of wheels to choose from. All have their pros / cons for your particular driving style. This was the wheel that stuck out to me. Flat Bottom was a must.

I also need to reiterate, @NitroYellowMKV was a pleasure to work with. Kept me up to date on the build, sent photos and answered my questions during the process. He takes a very personal touch, something you just don't get anymore from businesses, and that was worth every penny.

@67_Pony Replacing the Air Bag cover is not difficult. Tedious, yes. Biggest issue I ran into was getting the bag to squish back down to size and fit in the new cover. Ended up using 3 zip ties to squish it back down... once I got it mostly in, I cut the zip ties off. There are a few good how-to vids on youtube on how to do it.

Thank you again for the kind words, I really do try my best to make an option for everyone, and if I don’t make it as many forum members can attest i will custom make something for you! You will never make everyone 100% happy and that’s just the way it goes in this business and I’m okay with that!
