Finally got the perfect timing to send out my 2022 Supra DME to Euro Performance Center for an unlock with BM3.
If anyone elses' DME is also on this trip or if anyone wants to track the progress with me, I will be posting the DME's location every morning (9:00AM/10:00AM PST) on my Instagram story (@phtm.mkv) and will update this thread later at night.
So let the journey begin!
I saw Simon JJ's post on 10/31/23 on the Facebook page saying they were doing a trip in November. I asked him when they would be back, when was the latest I could send my DME, and his permission if I can put an AirTag to track the progress of where the DME was. He was super helpful. He said getting it shipped Friday-Saturday overnight is best and they would be back to the states on 11/22/23.
Hope it comes back soon as an early Black Friday gift to myself.
I quickly bought some AirTags and an adhesive sticker on Amazon (11/5/23) and it came the next day (11/6/23).
11/6/23 @ 9:00 AM - Placed the order for the Femto DME unlock
11/7/23 @ 9:40 AM - Received an email from EPC with instructions and shipping label
11/9/23 @ 5:00 PM - Packed my DME with A LOT of bubble wrap and dropped it off at my local UPS with EPC's provided shipping label
11/10/23 @ 11:14 PM - Day 1 since shipment. First stop in Kentucky.
11/11/23 @ 11:14 PM - Day 2 since shipment. We in West Virgina!
11/14/23 @ 4:07 PM - Day 5 since shipment. Made it safely to EPC.
11/15/23 @ 3:16 PM - Day 6 since shipment. Departure to Finland.
11/16/23 @ 8:15 AM - Day 7 since shipment. Made it to Finland.
11/22/23 @ 11:04 AM - Day 13 since shipment. EPC made it back to the States!
11/23/23 @ 10:00 PM - Day 14 since shipment. EPC prepared shipping labels.
11/24/23 @ 2:00 PM - Day 15 since shipment. DME's are enroute back to their owners! Estimated delivery date for my shipment via UPS is Monday 11/27/23.
11/27/23 @ 2:00 PM - Day 18 since shipment. DME installed and flashed staged 2!
