Will DME need to be sent back to FEMTO?

If I send my DME to FEMTO now for unlocking, will it need to be sent back to FEMTO when Bm3 custom ROMs are available for 2023 models?

I have been waiting a while as well until the Gen2 B58 CustomRom is out. The bootmod3 folks mentioned on this forum they could release the Supra customRom right now, but are trying to bundle in all gen2 B58 and B48 cars to avoid having different builds of the software and attempting to flush out any issues.

Ok, so I read the threads about DME clone and partial unlock etc. I’m confused.
With the BM3 custom ROM, can you run flex fuel? And with the current BM3 flex fuel is not available unless it’s full unlocked or pre 06/20?

The upcoming update allows flex fuel with BM3, but you'll have to send it out for a partial unlock. Currently it does not support flex fuel. You can do a full clone and get flex fuel with ecutek.
