The worst part is cutting the dash but even the premium ones are just cut dash so just depends if you think you're a patient person. I just bought all the parts required for 300$ with one outstanding thing being the cable which is either already in the dash or costs 50@Mysta
I'm just curious, how difficult do you think retrofitting a HUD would be for a total noob? The extent of modding I've done is bimmercode, unplugging ASD, and switch subs for ghost subs.
I'm loving the blue on the a91 from user pics but currently im thinking about just switching to a premium and then get spoiler, mirrors, painted rims, and possibly a wrap(dont really know much about wraps). I'm thinking it would cost more or less the same in the end and probably easier to do those 3 or 4 things instead of retrofitting a HUD.
Eh i doubt it, i mean without spoiler the a91 is only 300 more than premium, so if the paint, seats, and dash are really only 1 off that could explain the price difference without hud.Random thought of how toyota might explain the HUD delete:
The a91 is slightly more track focused hence the CF bits and removing the HUD was done in order to get as close to the 50:50 weight distribution as possible while reducing weight. I believe alcantara is usually lighter than the leather they use in cars as well, could be wrong tho.
