Registration opened on Saturday for the '25 OneLap...and there was a waiting list about 2 hrs after it opened. Thanks to some OneLap buddies, I knew it was opening on Saturday, and was carrying my laptop everywhere with me. I was on the way to the bar with my dog to meet a friend when I got the call. I hustled the last 5 minutes to the bar, sprinted in, jumped on their wifi and registered. Somebody gave my dog a beer and I got a treat...or something like that. ?

Looking at the registration list, it's still early and a lot of the manufacturers/sponsors are still pending, but the "regular folk" are listed. 5 Supras are "in" , 1 on the waiting list that ran last year, and you can assume Toyota PE will occupy one of the manufacturer spots with the Supra they've run for several years.

Tracks should be announced in Nov or Dec...maybe earlier since there is some new leadership. Brock Yates is still involved heavily, but he sold the One Lap of America business to one of the guys who has been helping him run the event for years. Solomon vows to modernize some of the business side idiosyncrasies - registration is comically bad and update some of the classing as well.

Now...for those (talking to you, @Rocksandblues :-D ...) who have said in years past that they wanted to do the event, IT IS NOT TOO LATE! Last year, we had a lot of thrash on the entry list, and most everybody on the waiting list got in to the event. It does cost $500 (refundable) to register to keep out the neer-do-wells, but if you want to do it...register NOW.

I was supposed to do it with a friend, but he bailed. So I was left solo. Not looking to make that drive alone.
Understood. Been there, got the t-shirt. The first time I registered for OneLap was 2019, and I had 3 straight years of car challenges or my planned co-driver bailing on me. It finally came together in '22. BTW, you must have a co-driver for the event, even if it's just someone who drives the transits between tracks (and that is most definitely a thing).
