Got my MT strat 3.0 last week

It's giving me an error now when trying to park. Checked the front and somehow got super unlucky as I think a small rock hit my front parking sensor. Taking it to the dealership but wondering if anyone has replaced it themselves or know the general cost? Does it need to be painted?

Is there any way to prevent this from happening again? Car was supposed to get PPF'd today before this happened.

I had the same happen to me and they wouldn't cover it under warranty. Mine barely looks scratched too. I haven't replaced it yet but the sensor is about $180.

Ended up just getting from the dealer. They should be installing this week. Roughly 1k to fix and most of that is labor as I think they have to drop the bumper.

Wouldn't have done it, but I've had issues parking (bit nervous with the front end) and I'd rather have the parking sensors than not.
