More BS is ensuing-been 5 days now—-still NOT done. Got a call yesterday to “bring it by anytime, we have the codes, should only take a few minutes”—-wife has been there 2 hours now. Says she sees the tech reading some “yellow papers” but does not see any actual work being done—-hood is up, doors are open—-yet the tech is just reading the “yellow papers”? Any clue WTF this means??? Lol

Yellow papers are repair orders, he’s probably a team leader or dispatcher. Nothing on this car should be waited for.

apparently this guy knew what he was doing—-I suddenly have access to all kinds of stuff I didn’t have before! AND the Nav system works—a whole slew of access via the website—I’m finally happy!

definitely should have dropped it off and came back later in the day. With anycar other than express oil changes always drop your car off. No telling the work load the techs have. Im glad you finally got everything working though! Enjoy it!

This was the 4th drop off!! Lol at least it’s fixed ——now the damn love bugs are thick as hell and I’m not taking this thing out to get covered in love bug goo—-so I can sit in it and play with the maps—lol

I get it, new car, coronavirus billshit happening, everyone seems to be on edge—-it got done. There are far worse things that could have been missed than a Nav system activation. I needed to have perspective—-and I didn’t—

My camry xse was a nightmare with the telematics not getting activated during pdi. U think u had a hard time getting yours done. For employees it takes longer ...2 months hahaha. Well that and i dont like bugging the techs. We were into it pretty heavy with leaf springs and airbags at the time. The supra oil change was done quick yesterday lol.The tech jumped all over it just to drive the car because i told him of my fresh p2uned ecutek tune! Now all we are doing is a shit tone of harnesses keeps us busy though

Fuck that sir ; take the damn thing for a rip . You can try to protect the paint, protect the wheels, etc, but things are gonna get chipped, dirtied, marred etc.

Dude, those love bugs are no joke. It got so bad last year when I was driving down to Miami, I couldn’t see through my front windshield...
I never seen anything like in my life. Windshield washer couldn’t get it off. I stopped at a gas station for windex and that didn’t come off. Thank god I went down there with a rental car. Those bugs will destroy your paint!!
This was only from 1 hour of driving on the FL turnpike. Never never drive your car during love bug season!

The activation should not take more than one hour..... I had a similar issue and had to find the one dealer in my radius that knew what they were doing. Took about 30 minutes to get it up and going
