So my car apparently didn't get much of a pdi. The plate mounts aren't even put on. I'm glad they didn't put it on the front but the back plate would have been nice. Question is what screw is the correct length? There are 3 different lengths. I know the short ones are for the plate to the bracket. But does it really matter for the bracket to the body? I thought bmws had a threaded insert in the body for their bracket. The mount that came with the car looks exactly like the BMW one I had on an older car. The supra just screws into the plastic with self tappers?

Make sure they removed your shipping spacers on your struts under the dust boot. A lot of dealers forgot to take them off peoples cars when they first came out.

You can really get OCD like I did and put a neoprene washer between the plate holder and the trunk lid to prevent water from being able to seep into the screw hole. And replace all the screws with stainless steel versions.
