Question for 2020 Premium edition

If I were in your shoes, I'd try to get that in writing as "should" isn't very reassuring to me. You don't want to be stuck with no warranty after unknowingly buying a car that wasn't intended for this country.

Yeah i had this concern as well, i talked with Toyota today (and for the last few days too) and they assured me the warranty covers it so long it is in Canada, USA and any US territories and they sent me an email and letter at my request. They also ordered the nav activation to be done as well. It was a lot of calling back and forth as i had to ask Toyota USA and Canada till they were able to figure things out and why a Canadian car made it to the states, but at least it's finally resolved
