Rear tow hook cover

My rear tow hook cover opens by itself every once in a while, does anybody have the same issue? Anybody recommend a solution to keep it close?

Could always put a tow hook on!

my wife's mini cooper had the same issue. a dab of hot glue did the trick. its been over a year now in the four seasons of VT no issues.

Mine does the same thing, pops loose on its own and also while washing. It’s infuriating, but I guess a dab of adhesive is on the menu to fix it up.
