Hi all. I have a 2023 strat blue manual supra. Many have asked why it didn't come with red interior after 2022; I am also one of those people. I am going to get my seats redone next month in red.

My question for y'all is: the supplier/installer has the option for me to make the "wings" black...or just go all red? I am not entirely sure what to do. And I have absolutely zero capability to photoshop myself. Is there anyone that could take the interior picture of my car OR any interior picture of a Supra and photoshop in red seats with the black "wings"?

I've attached an interior picture of my actual car (the black Driver's seat). I've also attached a picture of a standard red leather seat next to a red leather seat that I've really horribly filled in the "wing" areas that would be black. So that's essentially what I'm trying to compare...but I think my attempt is so horrible that it doesn't help me with the decision.

For what it's worth, I'll also likely have the stitching done in black or red (still undecided), but if I go with black stitching, that's probably less of a reason to go with the black inserts.

Again, looking for someone with a bit of photoshop skills to help me out here; I would really appreciate it!!

Poll below to cast your opinion as well!

Thank you in advance!

If you want to go red, I'd go all red.

I feel like with the blue exterior you could pull off any color, except red. Tan? White? Black? Blue? GO for it. I really think the red will clash against the blue, but thats me

I've been researching and kustominteriors.com might be worth checking out. Probably a lot more affordable and will retain and protect the original equipment.

^^Personal opinion is the red stitch-work on black could look really nice inside a stratosphere especially if paired with a custom steering wheel w red stitching.

It's not the best combo ever but it looks fine I think. G80s are available to option in the same blue + red interiors

I feel like the only decent color combo on that cruise ship is green w/orange interior. Red and blue just clash so much.

Thanks for the idea. I am going to keep my OEM seat covers to go back to black if I decide to, or if the next owner decides to. I went with red with black stitching, OEM design so it’ll look like a 2020-2022 red interior!

Thanks for the opinions! I’m thankful we’re all fortunate enough to be able to customize our cars the way we like!

White is too hard to keep clean, from personal experience; I already have black so I don’t want that; tan looks like an older interior in my opinion. I came down to an orange or red. I didn’t want to do orange and look like a stock new Z’s color combo.

Ultimately I decided on red based on it looking like an OEM 2020-2022 interior. And I’ll have the OEM black seat covers for the next owner or for myself to switch back to later. It’ll look good with my aftermarket steering wheel that has red stitching and stripe, plus the other little red accents throughout the rest of the interior.

Plus, BMW’s Portimao Blue is the same as my Strat, and their OEM red interior looks phenomenal with that exterior, in my opinion.

Got my car back a few days ago. I went with all red, and with black stitching! It’s actual real leather so noticeably softer and higher quality than the OEM seat covers. I couldn’t be more happy. The red complements the calipers, plus red stripe/logo/stitching on the steering wheel, plus a few other red accents throughout the rest of the interior. I wish BMW/Toyota had continued to offer the red interior in 2023+.

If anyone is considering changing their OEM seats, I’d recommend doing this for the better quality and feel of the leather alone, but also for the opportunity to change up the color as well if desired.

If anyone is considering this route, feel free to message me with any questions!

This red interior looks amazing, just as much red as necessary (I don't like red steering wheel or armrest). Great car!
