Helene blew some stuff into my 2023 supra as she passed through got about a 6 inch ding in the left quarter panel right behind the tire and some scrapes on the front end. Do I go to a BMW dealer or do I just try to find the best body shop around. I am in central South Carolina if anybody has a name to suggest? I appreciate any input.

You can call your dealer and ask where they recommend for body repair, and talk to your insurance adjuster you want to take your car to that recommended shop.

Glad you made out okay with Helene otherwise. If you can afford to fix it, pay for it yourself. If you put in an insurance claim, it’ll go against your insurance credit score and they’ll get the money back in rate increases, in the long run. That being said, shop around and ask for recommendations for the best body shop. Reputation is key.

Even better… if I lived as close as you do, I’d drive to TBR and ask them. It’d be great just seeing their shop and what they can do & know ?
