Replacing OEM lower steering wheel trim panel?

I'd like to replace the entire part in the link below. I installed a carbon fiber cover that simple does not fit well and ended up damaging the panel underneath, but I haven't found any instructions on how to actually replace this part. Has anybody done this without replacing the entire steering wheel?

I believe you will have to at least remove the airbag to replace that part. Held in by 4 tabs as I recall.
