I’m at Toyota right now getting an oil change. Well they said they cannot reset my oil light unless I do the recall. And can’t do the recall because I removed my factory amp.
Any suggestions.
Can you remove the light w bimmer link even if the recall isn’t done

You can reset the oil minder yourself but ONLY if the car says service is due. Just Google how to. It's easy.

You actually can reset the service reminder whenever you want with BimmerLink. Doesn't matter the mileage or elapsed time since the last service.

CBS (reminder reset):

-quick press start button 3x (seat belt on)
-press and hold odo trip.
-Hold another 10 sec to reset or press again to scroll menu, then press and hold.

Should work as I did it last year. Recall as in the brake starter button flash ECU one? If so, shouldn't matter.
