Anyone having issues with the 3M adhesive that comes with the Rexpeed V1 spoiler? I've had mine on 2 months and the sides don't stick anymore

I've given it a firm tug and feels secure still since I'm concerned it will fly off while driving

Installed according to the guides online

Thinking of removing it and reapplying but maybe with a stronger adhesive if someone can recommend something? Would glue silicone work well?

I think I used my own tape that was new when installing the rexpeed lip, and the sides fit tight that they weren't pulling up to begin with.

It sounds like you didn't properly prep the surface if the tape is failing. I wouldn't recommend gluing it on unless you plan to repaint the hatch if you remove it.

Sorry to hear your having an issue. I just installed mine today. Same 3m tape application. I'm not sure if mine is a v1 or not, but fitment was spot on. Its possible there is a slight imperfection in the unit. Maybe contact them to see what they recommend.

Same, fit really well when I put it on. Made sure to apply even pressure for a few minutes. This is a recent issue, could be due to the warmer weather also.

Used iso alcohol on spoiler and boot lid. Made sure the surface was clean before applying. Don't plan on removing it at all so I may find a more permanent solution.

Good idea thank you, was just curious if others had a similar issue/fix before asking them
