Looking to buy a Supra soon and looking for recommendations for a high quality wrap shop in/around Richmond that could do window tint and some level of PPF. If not, any recommendations for a shop that wouldn't require me to drive the car too far without the PPF. thanks

i went to black optix for tint, dont know how good they do on ppf though

Almost through 1200 miles on the Supra. Any recommendations for quality service shops in the Richmond area for the oil change? I assume a Toyota dealership maybe, but idk how the Toyota Care plays into all this since this doesn't align with a normal warrantied service interval.

I’m borderline mechanically inept and I have DIYed mine since the first oil change. Most difficult part is lifting the vehicle, everything else is quite easy on the B58.

That said, I would look into one of the local euro-focused shops if DIY isn’t an option. I don’t have any firsthand experience, but there’s a few in the area: Euro Ground, The Euro Shop, Eurotune, Autowerx.

Makes sense. There’s no shortage of owners posting about poor experiences when taking their Supra to a Toyota dealership, but it’s all highly anecdotal. Some techs are probably happy to work on them, and some find it a burden because mechanically it‘s not a Toyota.

Personally I’ve only been to the Toyota dealership once since purchasing the car 6 years ago for the brake booster recall.

Maybe too far but i have a shop in Fredericksburg if you want good Supra service.

I would double/triple/quadruple check to make sure they know its a Supra, and to have the oil and oil filter on hand.

Took mine to a local toyota dealer in Germantown, MD on my day off, with an appointment scheduled weeks in advance, and told them I was waiting for the car. It still took them almost 5 hours, and killed my entire day off waiting there. Their excuse was they installed the last filter on a walk in supra the day before and didn't order one for mine.

Kept telling me 10 more minutes when I was asking for updates. Never again, the two free oil changes weren't worth it, I can knock them out in 30 min in my driveway and enjoy the rest of the day.

Got an appointment with Ironwood because multiple euro shops didn't want to touch the Supra since its still a Toyota..

Any recommendations for performance shops around Richmond or a reasonable drive. Looking for one that could do simple lowering springs and spacers. Also looking to go downpipe / tune / performance mods in the future. I may take the car to CES but its 4.5 hours away
