Screen Mirroring on Canadian models

Has anyone gotten screen mirroring to work on Canadian models?

Never could find the option on my 2020. Wondering if it's changed on newer models.

It works on my 2021 but only for Android devices.

I did code the video in motion/video via USB from the Bimmercode manual (#8) posted here.

I had to add it as a device specifically for screen mirroring, so in iDrive I have the same phone twice: once for Bluetooth and once for screen mirroring.

The touchscreen doesn't work when screen mirroring and anything with protected content (Netflix, Disney+, Sportsnet/TSN, etc.) won't display. It's good with YouTube though.

Oh its has to be added first? Then video in motion?

Yeah I'm pretty sure it needs to be added. I think it's because of laws in different countries about video on screens in the front seats. Hopefully you can get it working. Good luck!
