Side window exterior trim scuffing...

Has anyone tried to wrap the exterior side window trim with either ppf or vinyl to hide the scratches?

They're matte plastic/rubber sections that get scratched and scuffed pretty easily. Looks like they're easy to remove:

I know FTSpeed sells a carbon fiber add-on version, but I'd prefer just to wrap them in either satin black or gloss black to match the A-pillar.

I've wrapped them in vinyl on a previous car, it's not too bad.

Mine are also scuffed, but it's not annoying enough for me to do anything about it yet.

I bought this stuff from Chemical guys for this exact reason. Looks ok so far and it's been a few weeks. We'll see how it holds up over time.
