The diff ratio of the manual is 3.46 vs the 3.15 of the automatic. This helps with acceleration for sure and also, the manual is also a bit lighter
On the other side, the auto shifts faster and the gears are shorter. I guess they must be pretty even at the end. I'll check out my times with custom 91 tune on the manual and come back.
My manual M4 was doing 6.7s on E40, but that's S58.
