I'd recommend wiping it down and taking a better photo(s). It does look pretty scuffed up in the one you are showing.

I don't understand what you are seeing, once again, it has no scuff marks on it and the way it is installed on the engine, you won't see what you say you see anyway.

Just look at the picture - it looks like cobwebs or something is there, folks might be more motivated to buy it if you take 30 seconds to reshoot the photo instead of brushing it off like it's not there.

i will admit that $100 seems like a fair price even if it was / is scuffed up a bit for this part

i dunno what all the artifact is but I am definitely seeing things that strongly resembles use or abuse. But if someone needs a functionally sound turbo shield, $100 seems fair.
