Does anyone know how many spacers are required for the replacement ball joints when at stock ride height?
I'm in the middle of installing several SPL parts on my car, and had a question about the front LCAs. I tried sending an email and calling but I was unsuccessful in getting a hold of anyone at SPL. Unfortunately the instructions are somewhat ambiguous.
ETA: No spacers for factory ride height is correct.
All in all though the install has been very straightforward, except the spacer question and the stupid ride height sensor ball.
Here's the tip for the front ride height sensor: Don't worry about braking it off of the factory LCA, just take out the 2X T25 bolts and unplug the sensor. Remove the LCAs and bring the arm with the sensor to your bench. It's so much easier to deal with off of the car. Just carefully pry the ball out on your bench. Similarly the reinstall is much easier if you just put the empty socket on a bench and push the SPL ball back in.
