Supra MKV, BM3 and Port Injection

I sent my car to a shop recently to get flex fuel, port injection and a new manifold. I have an unlocked DME with BM3 and the shop basically messed the car up. I took it to another shop and they figured out it was the port injection that was the problem. BM3 couldn't recognize that the car had PI and it was a shit show.
My question is, is there a way to get BM3 and port injection to work together or am I just screwed? I can post a picture of exactly what's in the car now if that helps. The shop I have it at now is thinking about bigger direct injectors and just abandoning the PI.

Bm3 doesn’t support PI directly. You have to use motiv reflex as a standalone. A good tuner can help you out on that.

I just bought a hpfp and injectors for a more simple approach. Bm3 will eventually support PI when they fully release CustomRom v2 and rev2.

What injectors and pump did you get? My tuner said he needs the data for the new injectors and he's reached out through email to a few places, but I'm trying to speed the process up some lol

Dorch hpfp, and their s58 injectors. Bm3 also has a toggle switch in their menu for the pump and injectors. You can use that when you flash the new tune, but a tuner will still need to tune it to really run properly. My tuner is Sameh, so he already has experience with that type of setup.

Does anyone know if there is a way to see ethanol content in an app or something with motiv reflex? I'm stuck between mhd flex fuel kit and that system. Not sure if there's a point of going with the mhd route if I'll end up having to switch over to motiv eventually for PI

What are you tuned with? If your Reflex is integrated with MHD or Ecutek, both apps have live monitors and you can just add Eth% as a number to watch. If you're on BM3, it does not support integration with Reflex and I'm not sure there is a way to see the current percentage, because that percentage is not being transmitted on the CANbus.

Ohhhh okay I didn't know if it did. Yeah I'm on mhd+. Seems like i should just go with the motiv kit. I just won't have use for all the extra stuff at the moment

If you plan on doing port injection in the long run I’d go with the motiv kit. But if you aren’t the flex fuel kit will work just fine.

Yes, check out the CES Supra. They acheived it with a remnant turbo kit, stock fueling components, and an ethanol mix. 607 whp. But that’s maxing out the fuel system too.
