SuckageI had to pay another $84.19 CAD for import duty/tax.
Definitely sucking........Suckage
Nothing, not a word and usually something is said up front so I wasn't expecting this.Damn.. nothing like that for the US. Iād be pretty annoyed at paying over 1/2 the cost without the seller saying anything upfront. (Is this typical for shipments into Canada or nah?)
Mine also. Delivery promised tomorrow. You in ORD area?Mine has been processing in customs in Chicago since the 9th. Hopefully they show up in the next couple days
Thatās some bullshit.Nothing, not a word and usually something is said up front so I wasn't expecting this.
Same for me since the 9thMine has been inbound for customs (Chicago) since the 6th. Zero updates afterwards.
Arrived today, north of Chicago almost WI. Took 13 days from order placement. Sat at ORD since 3/9, released yesterday. They look fine. I had to sign for them w/ mail lady.Mine has been inbound for customs (Chicago) since the 6th. Zero updates afterwards.
Wonder if it is because yours went DHL instead of thru the āEMSā express mail service which then turns it over to USPS? Iāve ordered other things from China/Taiwan and never paid a duty and they typically come via EMS.When I was sent the request from DHL for import duties/taxes, I was wondering if you guys had the same thing and just weren't mentioning it. Now I know it's just for Canadian orders it seems, maybe revenge for some bad poutine or a beaver attack........
I had to look up EMS, I hadn't heard of that delivery service!Wonder if it is because yours went DHL instead of thru the āEMSā express mail service which then turns it over to USPS? Iāve ordered other things from China/Taiwan and never paid a duty and they typically come via EMS.
