Switched Power In Mirror

Anyone know where switched power is located in the mirror? Looking to install a Blendmount and would like to tape into mirror wiring for power.

Anyone know where switched power is located in the mirror? Looking to install a Blendmount and would like to tape into mirror wiring for power.

After reading some other threads on this, I had mine hardwired with a relay installed in the rear of the car.

Seems that everyone that uses the mirrortap is provided with constant power even after the car is shut down and locked up....

On some BMW forums they are tapping into the rain sensing wipers, but I don’t know where the wiring for those are located....

Someone should update this post.

Hopefully there is a way to bimmercode the Mirror power to turn off when the vehicle is shut off.

There is not, I end up turning my radar off manually (or it auto shuts off after an hour)
