Difficult to comment on random noises especially without a clip. In the clip, I'd move the recording device (phone, etc.) around slowly to give people an idea where it may be originating from..
It may even be coming from a tiny stone stuck to the wheel, but may be transmitting inside. (not saying it is, but noise propagation is interesting..)

question,
what gear are you in at that 3500rpm? or does it do it in every gear at 3500rpm

Mine happens at roughly 3200rpm. You have to accelerate very slow and you hear it. Like a little buzzer. Almost like when you have something vibrating in your cup holder, but from the cluster.

Like everything else, cars have natural frequencies. Engine is usually around 35Hz. You may have found the combo that resonates.. So there may not be an easy fix.. Just saying it's one possibility.. I'll have to try when I get out next time.

I guess Iā€™m one of the lucky ones-grrrr. Have you found anything to fix it?

It sounds like it might be something Iā€™ll have to live with. Pretty disappointing-these arenā€™t cheap cars!

I had that same noise, & only in sport mode: went away completely when I put in the Cusco front power brace.
