Instagram use Brandon A Miller shares photos from the Toyota Technical Center in Michigan.
They painted the calipers, and threw on emblems under the wrap
Oh snap! This actually makes sense I guess, the whole crew is in the US. Akio is apparently at his ranch having lots of fun...
I wonder why Michigan though? Also, I am less than 5 hours away....
More pics from Johnny Rose.
I think we can finally put to rest that the circles on the bumpers are indeed sensors for parking/safety sense.
Edit: Also the rear F1-style fog light is probably the reverse light.
I wonder if ToyotaUSA will bring it to Supras in Vegas?
Better get driving then haha
This is all I can think about you doing.
So this still has the big ol dual-pipe exhaust, but (perhaps its just the angle?) but it looks like it has a standard diff, no servo mounted on the case?
Curious Guff, if you do enter and make it. Can you actually ask to see the engine and would they let you?
I'm sure you are curious if you can get a in person view and take a look. Though, you'll probably would be signing NDA's
I messaged somebody who was there to see what the deal is with the car being out there, if its still there tomorrow and I can get in to look at it, I might drive down. It would be at least 9pm though if I drove now and I doubt they would leave a priceless prototype sitting out at night haha.
I might message some friends at Toyota corporate and see if I can get a couple minutes with the car, assuming it isn't off to Texas already.
Well, if it came from Europe, I don't see how they didn't just ship it to headquarters considering the cost of shipping and importing. If anything, they'd leave it there until late Saturday and begin working out details on Monday with the car. Most likely PR stunts and seeing if they are ready to inform the public with a little more information from now until October/November
I'm loving the pics. Those two guys took them from really good angles. It really shows off the lines and rear hip.
could you park your car next to it so we can kinda get a size comparison?
Different exhaust tips too. I reckon this is a second car.
