Has anyone paired a single exit tomei with a stock downpipe? Thinking of eventually going catless but still can’t tune because I have a 21. I’m used to pretty loud cars and am wondering if just the tomei will be underwhelming or not.

I did the tome I single exit for about a week. With the cat its not overwhelming its similar to stock more or less on normal mode letting it shift on its own if you’re not really on the gas. Just slightly louder. Sport Mode is another story. It burbles at basically any rpm. Not really that loud but red line pops and bangs are nice. I think I would be comfortable running catted single in Cali to be honest with you it isn’t bad unless youre on it. but it wasnt loud enough for me so I ended up going catless.
