Transmission whine

2020 B58 supra with 48.5k miles. just noticed this sound the other day. Slight wine, sounds like its coming from the transmission when it is in drive or reverse. Note the sound goes away when I put it into park at 0:12. Haven't gotten a chance to put it on jack stands and check the fluid. Feels like it shifts fine. Any cause for concern?

I don't hear anything abnormal here.

Bryan is referring to us drag guys. We have 1st gear completely locked out on the cars.

Good to know. My first sports car and it was a little disconcerting to hear a little hum from the transmission. Thanks

As you get older, you tend to lose high-frequency hearing. I could not hear anything like what you described in your recording. Of course, going to rock concerts didn't help my hearing, back in the 80s.
