Tuning your post 6/20 ECU without Cloning!

Just getting another post 6/20 ECU knocked out for a customer that opt’d to use his factory ECU instead of cloning to save a little money.

This car will be running around with our E50 tune. ?

I figured I’d make a separate thread for our customers that had interest in going this route instead of wanting to clone.

Edit: I read the title wrong some how. I thought it said ‘without Russia”

Didn’t need to send the original ECU to russia for the unlock? You can do it in house?

It did for about 60 seconds. Was driving and had an autocorrection.

My ECU is 6/20 so is mine locked. I just get confused cause everyone says after 6/20 so does that mean July? Don’t judge no place really clarifies this. Haha

Any date that is greater than or equal to '06-01-2020' is probably locked.

Now, sir, there are options, such as the one @Marshall@ViscontiTuning posted above. You can get all ECUs unlocked now. I'd recommend reaching out to one of the shops offering unlocks to get an idea of what's available for you. It's a matter of price at this point.
