Tyre pressure for the street

Hi Guys

I am running 285/35/19 Bridgestone RE-71Rs at the rear.
Wanted to know whats the best tyre pressure to get good 1/4mile times on the street.

That tread right in the middle of the tire…that’s the only tread you want contacting the street.

I believe the recommendation is 38 psi for our cars. Daily driving stuff.

If you’re going for better traction, you‘ll drop the tire pressure. Can’t speak for drag folk. But for tracking, you definitely drop the pressure and continue to bleed them as the day goes on.

I keep them at 32-30 psi. But over here it is very hot and the sun is scorching soooo yeah. If you want to drag the car drop the pressure you will get more traction.
