Hey guys, what oil temps does your Supra usually operate at normal street driving or some pulls?
I tested 3.0 MY2020 lately, completly stock car, 50F outside temp, on normal mode crusing it holds oil around 210-220F, on 3 gear pulls in Sport it goes fast up to 240F. Water stays around/below 210F.
Is it normal or does this seem high? Outside temp is pretty low with cold air so I thought it may operate on lower temp spectrum...
I'm considering buying that car but wondering if it will overheat on track in 85F+ temps if it catches 240F easily on the street, I do not want oil to go past 280F, and wanna track build it with ~450whp so more heat...

Can some of You guys check in hidden menu on Your supras? Would appreciate help :)

Ideal oil temp is between 212F and about 260F. Some oils go higher.

210F is normal operating mode for coolant. It will go up during a pull but should cool down quickly

220-230F is normal operating mode of oil. Same thing as coolant as they influence each other.

Well ok, wondering if getting to 240F oil on the street pretty easily is concerning or a predictor it may overheat on track in 90f outside temps...
