UK… ordering to delivery

Oh wow I thought only the manual got the new gun metal wheels lol so are they putting these for any '23 models I guess...? Ah well, good for you, Enjoy my MT is pretty sick, except reverse gear, it's a cu*t to get in gear :S

Went to toyota today and yeah as expected the repayments are a lot higher than what I currently pay due to APR change, if anyone is after a supra they had a black one in the showroom

I would be amazed if from ordering it to being made was done in 7 days when the average UK wait is anything from 6-12 months at the moment. Maybe they have found a cancelled order thats been made that matches your spec - either way that's great news for you as you can drive it all this year without having to wait around for what seems like an eternity.

Yes, I was very surprised to say the least. I actually went onto the Toyota website and they list 'Lightening Yellow ' as 6 weeks delivery (when I last checked it had changed to 7 weeks). Renaissance Red was listed as 15 weeks, some other colours not listed. Maybe I did get lucky, we will have to wait and see.
The dealer was adamant when I placed the order that although other dealers were stating 8 to 9 months the system was clearly indicating 6 weeks. I cannot believe that he would phone me a week later and tell me that they had received notification that the vehicle was being built that day, without that being true.
Now I hope that it will not turn up before March 1st, so that I can have the new '23' registration (not sure I could resist the temptation to register it straight away).

Kevin, Ive not come across this info, where does it say the delivery for the various models on the Toyota website even when in the car configurator pages. Would be interested to see what it say about the special MT edition, what URL are you using? Thx

Hi Craig, search Toyota 'new vehicle availability '. It is a Toyota site, so should be accurate. When I first investigated this it clearly stated the delivery times in weeks against some colours....but not all. I remember seeing that the 'blue' was only 2 weeks, yellow 6 weeks and red 15 weeks. I checked this a couple of times as on the second time the yellow had changed to 7 weeks. However, when I tried again a couple of days later.......I couldn't find this information again......there definitely is a way......but it is not straightforward.
I spoke to a number of dealers who all said the same......around 8 to 9 months. When I questioned my local dealer........who apparently is a GR specialist......he offered to show me the details on his laptop.
Check out the website..........it will not be immediately apparent.......but the detail is there......I have seen it. Good luck.

I had a look again last night and couldn't find it again. When I ordered mine I didn't even add the one option available.......the 'travel pack' (I believe it was called), even though I wanted it.......just incase that may hold up delivery.
He did mention 2 weeks for shipping, so I guess I should hear something in a week or so. He did say that as soon as it has been shipped, the updates would come 'thick and fast'.

Prices and finance deals on the Supra have changed quite a bit in the year I've had mine. I'm on 0% finance deal and paid just over £50K for it.

I see the RRP is around £59K now - wow, but what prices are people getting them for?

Just under 52k through carwow, including the 2k toyoto finance contribution for the special edition MT, List price is just under 57k. there is no premium price for the Special edition. In the US they charge a $1645 for the burnout white colour over the Cu Later grey and the MT model itself is over $2500 more than the Supra AT 3.0 premium, so maybe the UK MT special edition price is a bargain?

Hi Craig, just received another update. Apparently the Supra has been dispatched! The dealer is going to get further clarification as to whether it is enroute, or possibly at the depot. I am hoping it is still enroute as only 22 days until the end of the month.

It must be because of your relatively 'rare' spec that yours is taking so long.

I ordered a 2.0 Lightening Yellow on 11th January. Didn't order the one and only option travel pack, just incase this may have held up delivery.
