[UK] Best Peak District driving roads?

Fellas,

Had my MK5 MT '23 for almost 9 months now, hard to believe, still less than 2k on it.

With the dry weather here now, I want to have a proper "GT" drive up in the peak district.

I have been there before several times in my daily but we always went there for hiking spots/holidays, never for driving specifically.

Wondering if anyone here has some solid recommendations please on great roads/valleys/dales to belt around in the Supra - I also hope to get some cool shots / clips.

I do enjoy the scenery but I am mostly after good road surface as well as twisty to get a proper engaging driving experience and enjoying the manual.

Try the Strines in the Peak district, a series of hairpins and up and down hills, its between the A57 and A616. I used to hare through it every day for work many years ago, when i had a Nissan Sunny ZX coupe 16v. By the time i got to the end the brake pedal had gone to the floor through overheating. Good pub there too 15th century "Strines inn"

No worries enjoy, Castleton, Chatsworth, Bakewell and Hathersage all around there are very scenic drives

Finally made it: trip to the Peaks - here's the route I took: "Surprise View Car park" to Slackhall - going through Hope Valley, Winnats Pass, Castleton and Rushop Edge.

Ran into a massive TVR convoy and a Caterham convoy as well, we were belting around rushop edge, best drive I've had in the Supra yet hands down, and passed the 2000 mile mark.

Finished off with a drink at the Peacock picturesque restaurant/pub, recommended.

Best moment was Winnats Pass.

Sadly it did rain a bit, even though it was not supposed to.
