just thought I would share my setup incase it helps..😀

I was also concerned with lowering mine with the billion speed bumps per square millimetre in my area. So, I went with 20” wheels which has basically raised the car by a bit so if I do want to lower I at least have some extra height now. Saying that, I am pretty happy as it is for now where fatter tyres+flush offsets also helps fit the space.

Hows clearance with 20" get any rubbing on turn in? What wheels and measurements are those?

Hows clearance with 20" get any rubbing on turn in? What wheels and measurements are those?
No issues with rubbing so far, but I’ve not done many miles since getting them. Company I bought them from have promised me they will not rub, and will pass MOT. (I’ll let you know if that changes!)

Ive got a couple of questions id be really interested in your opinion on.
1. Do you think the blueish titanium part of the exhaust stands out? I really like that system but with a red car it seems like it would contrast poorly.
2. Do you think the exhaust is worth it without the decat? Back when you first got the car is probably as far as i want to go.
3. Are you considering springs and spacers? (sorry if i missed this in the thread) I dont want to ruin the ride quality/usability but would love a 20mm drop.
For what it's worth I wouldn't bother with either a decat or the rear Akrapovic if all you want is the US spec noise. Save yourself €3500. I started with the Akrapovic rear section and it makes hardly any difference, adding a mid section OPF delete pipe makes all the difference and I reckon it would be just as good with the standard rear section. This is what I have and I don't even get a check light:

Back from Whitbitz today with a few changes:

Wagner Tuning intake/charge cooler.
Forge charge pipes.
Whifbitz development hybrid turbo.
Whifbitz carbon engine cover. (Well, half of one! )
Mapped on the rolling road for the above changes.

Peak power is now up to 495hp at the wheels, peak torque is down slightly to 467ft/lb, the real difference though is so much more power at the top end! With the OTS stage 2 map it was making peak power at around 5500rpm and tailing off by 6000rpm. Now peak power is made at 6300rpm, making it much more fun to hang on to the gears. :drive:

Currently running the OEM rear silencer as the Akrapovic one still hasn't come back from it's warranty repair!

Akrapovic titanium silencer now refitted and working nicely, sounds absolutely glorious at high rpm on the A roads. (Will try and get a video of that when the weather is less crap!)

Finally got out of the lane in the fun cars this weekend, (it's been flooded most days since early Feb) and went to the Piper Trimmers event on the 9th, and to Upton Bridge Farm Cars & Coffee on the 10th.
As usual an amazing mix of cars, I was even able to persaude Mrs Brett to get her Carrera 3.0 out in the rain! (By telling her it definitely wouldn't rain 😂 )

It was dry AND warmish on Sunday, so as well as going to Upton Bridge I finally got the chance to actually use the throttle... she really does shift now! :bow: :cool: :drive:
