Totally believe ya! Same ? in my neck of the woods. Everyone is making their way down for the winter and our population doubles. For some reason that makes their left hand turn blinker mean they’re turning right and vice versa. And drive with a vengeance! I try and only take the Supra out on the weekends or times when I know there’s less traffic.Drove it today and almost got t-boned by some jackass in a RAV4 running the red light after the light turned green for for like 3 secs. Good thing I always check the intersection after the light turns green. So I honked my clown horn at them and floored it past them.
UPDATE**
10mins later. Another jackass went all the way from the right to cut across 3 lanes to make a left turn near the intersection last sec. I wish I could show you guys this stuff I see on daily so you think I’m not making this stuff up. I have a dashcam but it’s not hooked up fully yet as of the moment or I’d post these vids on here. I really wonder why people are driving so crazy lately.
They are in a hurry, and they are more important than you are, so please stay out of their way.I really wonder why people are driving so crazy lately.
I don't know what color blue is (every group is different) but I've been instructing and driving in advanced groups for longer than some of you mooks have been alive. A couple of years ago I did a BMW CCA school as a student, and they require instructors for everyone, regardless of experience. My guy pointed out several bad habits that I've developed over the years of driving on my own. So yeah, I agree with Mr. Florida, keep the mind open! The guys that go out there and drive in “blue” group for years on end, or have a fixed mindset, learn really bad habits.
Not a condescending statement at all.I don't know what color blue is (every group is different) but I've been instructing and driving in advanced groups for longer than some of you mooks have been alive.
I didn't mean to be condescending, just pointing out that I've been doing it for a long time. Not a condescending statement at all. Ironically, in my experience, a lot of the instructors are the slowest people on track, are the literal worst at giving point bys, and the first to cry when somebody else is faster and giving them "pressure". Bunch of whiny cry babies.
Yes you did, because you called everyone stupid and foolish. I just called you out on it and now you are back tracking.I didn't mean to be condescending, just pointing out that I've been doing it for a long time.
LOL, how do I send him a big kiss? ?BummerGuy, I think he likes you ?
I guess that’s why they segregate (on the places I’ve checked so far) new drivers with instructors from more experienced faster people. I reckon it would be annoying to deal with the slower unexperienced traffic doing annoying, unpredictable things right in front of you.Not a condescending statement at all.

No, he was saying the Instructors by themselves are slow and whiney- which i concur.I guess that’s why they segregate (on the places I’ve checked so far) new drivers with instructors from more experienced faster people. I actually felt embarrassed a couple of times because there are a lot of things happening at the same time and between the line, the braking, cornering, etc. I was slow and had trouble pointing by etc…. The normal stuff when someone learns a new craft.
but at the same time I appreciate people that sit to teach, I teach in my job and it requires a LOT of patience and skill.
so hated or loved, there is no option. Someone has to prevent me from doing something stupid! ??
At least for the foreseeable future….
Just note I stated "a lot" not "all".I guess that’s why they segregate (on the places I’ve checked so far) new drivers with instructors from more experienced faster people. Lots of the new stuff will light up when someone is in your blind spot tooAren’t those side mirrors blinking amber?
Depends on the group. FARA & NASA for example down here, a lot of them compete as well. Making them more “realistic” that the line isn’t always perfect to follow. They know it changes depending on the weather, track conditions, the way the car is performing, driver skill, etc. Sure there are some douchebags in anything. Guess I’m lucky that I know a lot of nice/good ones ?No, he was saying the Instructors by themselves are slow and whiney- which i concur.
No advanced driver in his right mind would be out in the green group. No point and asking for an incident. the speed and skill delta are just too vast.
When Instructors run in the advanced or instructor group in their personal rides- yes the majority seem to be slow, adverse to a point by, and are ALWAYS the most prevalent to complain to organizers- about something.
